Me Asian, him white. Why? Well, for me, I grew up with lots of Asian male friends. They were like brothers to me. So when I see an Asian dude, it's like he's my brother, and I have no desire to marry my bro. Also, Asian males tend to be more misogynistic, and I ain't down with that. But then again, I wouldn't marry any man that was misogynistic regardless of race. Can't speak to other races. The other reason could just be proximity - this is what's around them, the group they hang out with, etc. Or, like for DH, could just be that's who the person is attracted to.
Gawd. You are like a walking stereotype.
Seriously. WTF is up with that logic? Most people in the world marry someone from their own ethnic group; I wonder how they manage to get past marrying someone that is "like their bro (sis)?" What a garbage excuse. Then again, that was probably a troll post from an angry white guy with yellow fever.
Pp here. I don't know how other people manage to get past this. Maybe many people didn't have very close friends of the opposite gender. Maybe they did but they had no problem seeing them as something other than as a sibling. I have no idea about other people. I only know how I felt. Who says attraction is logical or the same for everyone.
