Not the poster, but no doubt that libraries are largely ignored now, for obvious reasons. They mostly seem to be popular so some moms can talk about pushing their strollers in their "walkable" neighborhoods to the library for story time.

No one is claiming Mosaic is a "Mecca" (except, perhaps, in the narrow sense that it merits a visit), but it's also telling that others want to judge the entirety of the plans to redevelop Merrifield based on what is or isn't in the Mosaic District as of this very moment.  It does seem to betray a certain underlying resentment or insecurity.  Perhaps you just should come out and tell us what you believe is so much more deserving of our attention.[/quote]
