Agreed. So funny-- we started in 3 rooms in a church with 60 kids, a little red cart of books for a library. 
Happy to have helped build something so great for the city.

We still have the red cart:)  reminder folks that this is all just abou a school and that any school, whether you get it for "free" or for "fee" will alternate madden you and intoxicate you. Your child will love it one month and hate it the next, and Then back again. And your home environment and your level of stress will be the ultimate arbiters of your child's experience of childhood. If you want to stay in the community you currently live in then find a school, any school, roll up your sleeves and make it work.  Good luck everyone![/quote]
