Some people are lazy and try to game the system for every benefit they can finagle instead of working and will actually turn down a job offer because they can get benefits for nothing. That's sad reality. They needlessly and willfully abuse the social safety net that was originally created for those who genuinely need it. It wasn't created in order to allow able-bodied people to be lazy - and we can't afford to have a system that allows able-bodied people to be lazy on the taxpayer's nickel.
