So you could have a 4-person family sharing one bathroom. One room is just a toilet and maybe a tiny sink, and the room next to it is a shower and a larger sink. This way someone's long shower doesn't get in the way of other people taking a leak. When I lived in Europe, my 3-bedroom, 1,000 square foot place had a configuration like this. Only annoying thing is it didn't have a fan in the toilet room. If OP is worried about husband stinking up the bathroom, just have the lightswitch hard-wired to turn on the fan also. [/quote]
