I'm not even here to argue, but to present a rational non-devotional view of the bible. And, Oops! you engaged me again - and accused me of abusive behavior again. To the poster who is supplying Bible verses -- got a good one for that? I do hope others - religious or not -- are reading here to see how at least one believer responds to factual information about the Bible.
It's real easy to attack peoples faith when you believe in nothing. We can disregard Bible passages because the Bible isn't one book, but lots of books squished together. You'd know that if you read a few pages instead just of googling "worst Bible verses." Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
