I see nothing wrong with teens shoveling for money. In fact, I LOVE it. I always hire teens for the snow and grass cutting. I love that there are teens who are taking the initiative and actually willing to get off their butts and work for money instead of begging their parents.

I do think it would've been much better for the parents to allow their teens to send out the emails and promote their own business.

But in short, there is absolutely nothing wrong with teens being paid for their services.

I've had adult neighbors shovel for me when they knew the hubby was out of town or working (the snow fell after he'd gone to work and since they were out doing their own they decided to do mine too). But I'd never expect teens to do that.[/quote]

Yeah, but those ump jobs are not easily accessible. A shovel and lawn mower, however, are.
