I think the biggest thing for tourism is to have an angle. If a place is depicted as just a suburban whatever, it doesn't attract people. If a place is depicted as a paradise, it attracts people. If a place is depicted as weird, it attracts people. New Orleans usually gets the spotlight, but it has always been depicted as sort of gothic and dark and swampy. And that hasn't stopped tourism. I also kind of think that the people who will really like the show already kind of have that impression of Louisiana and the South in general. [/quote]
