He has always been in contact with his dad. His dad had him at 17 and never really grew up himself either by all appearances, but he wasn't a deadbeat. Justin has always known him. Justin's dad and mom actually got along pretty well while Justin was growing up. He was discovered at 12 so he has been famous for years now. Lots of pics with his younger half brother and half sister with his dad - he seems pretty close to them. 
A hope this is a wake up call. Not sure it will be - he is still too entitled, arrogant and immature. [/quote]
