CIA Director George Tenet has already admitted (in his book) he gave what turned out to be an incorrect intelligence assessment to President Bush prior to the invasion of Iraq.
So only the people who PAID HIM by buying his book were privy to that apology?
Go get the book at a public library and you won't have to pay him. Really? That is what you get out of this. The guy wrote a book which makes the conversation with President Bush (and his thoughts about that conversation subsequently) for practical purposes public record. Do you want him to come to your house and tell you personally that he jacked up the WMD intel and tell you he is sorry about that? Does that satisfy your need for an apology? Should he then publish a letter in your local paper telling everyone that he apologized to you?
