1) He has become self-motivated and self directed.

5) He is able to easily juggle school work with his extra-curricular activities
6) HGC kids are like any other kids...their IPad and video games are a source of annoyance to most parents.
7) The peer group is phenomenal, most kids are polite and social and very little discipline problems are encountered.
8) Some of the day-to-day work is so routine (Math, POW, Wordly wise) that kids are doing it on the bus or in class.  The bulk of time is spent on projects that the kids love to do.
9) All of a sudden there is a new maturity in the way they  conduct themselves and what their responsibilities are.
10) They are truly learning time-management. Projects are broken into small chunks. Daily work is required and expected.

I just love the program. Parents are SUPER involved. And if there was not a limit on how many chaperons they could take for each field-trip, I think almost everyone's parents would be there.[/quote]
