If your child is not struggling academically, but is only complaining about too much work, I wouldn't necessarily move him back to base school.  Also, I think it's good for kids not to be one of the smartest kids.  It prepares them for higher grade levels and for real life.  It also helps to build work ethic if they have to work a little harder to get good grades.   If he's feeling that he's not smart because he can't keep up with the work, that will have a negative impact on his self esteem and in that case I would move him back.  [/quote]
