OP didn't hire her because her dress made OP uncomfortable. It would make a lot of parents uncomfortable. You dress for the job or you don't get the job. An au pair doesn't need to dress in a suit, but she should be reasonably covered while at work or in her application video. [/quote] You're missing the point. The OP sounds too insecure to hire an au pair. She should hire an older nanny. An au pair candidate can wear a burqa in her video but the family will still probably be heading off to the beach with the girl eventually. OP couldn't handle it. [/quote]
