But there ARE consequences to these types of actions. Unless you want a tit for tat with your neighbor, it is best to resolve diplomatically. Let me tell you some neighbor responses/vindictiveness that I have seen as an HOA mediation rep: 1. Having your guests' car towed because they accidentally parked in the wrong space; 2. Calling the County because you forgot to scoop Fido's poop one time ($100 fine); 3. Removing snow and placing it where you either cannot get out or you have to move it; 4. Blowing leaves onto your lawm; 5. Standing by passively while they could help - think someone breaking into your car and they witness it. These neighbor wars can escalate and become very petty and bitter. Now, OP's wife has issues, but talking is always the best solution. [/quote]
