Many people do not feel that way. I grew up in a house that was 400 years old. My house now is only 120 years old. It is not "better" simply because it is "newer". Personally I rarely see a house built after 1950 that I'd be interested in living in. Most modern housing stock has very uninteresting architectural details and frankly they are not build as well.[/quote]
