I never said ALL Russian men were terrible fathers; my brother is a great dad (while his wife uses every chance to get a break from kids- she works FT so it's not like she is with the kids 24/7).
As of enabling- I don't know. Maybe Russian women don't fight for their rights the way they should- but I promise you the Sunday morning playground thing wouldn't fly with a typical Russian dad- who wouldn't marry a typical American woman to begin with.
I generally find it offensive - this "sama vinovata"- this s your fault- attitude in women to other women. I think you are just lucky to have a highly non typical Russian husband.[/quote]
