I don't want to miss out on swim parties, beach time, water parks, etc. with my kid(s) because I'm too embarrassed by my legs to put on a swimsuit.  I don't see it as a vanity thing (I don't need nor expect a perfect body), but rather something that has a big quality of life impact.  That's reason enough for me to do it, despite how others might judge me for it.[/quote]
