OP here. Absolutely no interest in breast reduction surgery. I didn't say I dislike my body, I can't stand the bra I'm wearing. Plus, have you actually see what is done to your breast to have it reduced?
Okay, I understand. It was just a suggestion. To each her own. I know a few people who've been very happy with the results, but it's not for everybody.
I was a 36DDD and had no interest in a reduction either. Had to have one 6 months ago due to severe back issues and it was the best thing I've ever done. Recovery was fairly easy; I am now a 34C; I look 10 years younger; feel great; am able to exercise and have dropped 20 lbs. I didn't dislike my body either. Insurance paid 100%.
I'd like to know more if you don't mind sharing. I'm a 36GG and am terrified of surgery. But im often in pain and nothing ever fits right. I'm so self conscious at the gym and I don't go as much as I should because of it. Forget about running or jogging, even with 2 sports bras. What doctor did you see? How long was the recovery? Is there alot of scarring?
I was nervous about surgery too but it was 3 hours; outpatient and not a big deal. I took one week off of work because I was on pain meds. The worst part of the recovery was having to sleep on my back. I had minor swelling and was able to see the results immediately. Early on the incisions looked bad but was told it takes a year for the scars to really fade. My GYN gave me a recommendation for a PS in Bethesda who I saw. I would ask your doctor for a recommendation. My biggest regret is not doing this 10 years ago.
