[/quote] hummmm, let's see.... .............Dunbar existed as an all black school only because it was the only place black kids could go to HS since they were not accepted by the other HS. it seems reasonable to me that the school celebrates the fact that its alumni managed to get a good education and excel in life notwithstanding segregation. those all white HS were all white only because they did not accept kids unless they were white, it does not sound to me like a part of their history they should be proud of and celebrate[/quote]
