[/quote] OP, I absolutely agree with you on the above. I don't know if it works, but I have told my children since they were toddlers that cars don't give way or watch out for people. People need to watch out for cars. Never, ever, ever assume that someone sees you or will stop for you. They SHOULD pay attention, but you can't count on it, and in a battle between car versus child, the car will ALWAYS win. So you ALWAYS stay alert and give way.[/quote]
