He also has ADHD and a new medication has better controlled his symptoms. It's possible - and the psychiatrist agrees - that better ADHD control can decrease anxiety (and vice versa). His anxiety has been both general anxiety disorder (never that bad) and social anxiety, which was a major problem -- he's a much different kid now. It wasn't just medication - he did therapy as well, and that helped.[/quote]
