My tennis playing son says the exact same thing.  He said a teacher at his all boys' school once asked who played lacrosse, and all of the worst students raised their hands.  Of course there are exceptions, but not enough to dislodge the stereotype.  Son also reports that the lacrosse players are the guys he knows who drink and smoke pot.[/quote]

Lulz @ this retarded post it's such a "MOM" post it's insane. "SON REPORTS LAX PLAYERS ARE GUYS WHO SMOKE AND DRINK" yeah that should be the headline of a paper, the subheading will read: Breaking: Mom believes everything son reports as pure fact and is ignorant to the possibility that her son has probably smoked a joint a few times and drank from her naughty cabinet". I guess that's kinda wordy, but they'll make it work i bet. Sometimes i sit in class and i pick out all the tennis kids and they all seem kinda like panzies, so i guess we should just indulge ourselves in stereotypes as pure fact, huh? Lax = all of the worst students/only the worst students/only the very dumbest students and there are not enough exceptions to say this stereotype is not a fact. Also, mom #1's angel son reports they also smoke pot and drink! While tennis = panzies, for sure (ex: Mom #1's angel son). Definitely unathletic as well because well lets face it, if they were athletes they'd prob have gone with a real sport like football/bball (basket not base)/lax. Also, the only 2 kids i know @ my school who have definitely snorted cocaine are tennis players.
