Skinny pants/jeans look good on very few women.  Most women who wear them do not look good at them.

Cropped tops that end above the waistline of your pants/skirts.  You have to be super-toned and firm for this to work. Most people aren't.

White stockings.  Unless you are five and playing snowflake in the preschool morning show.

Running shoes/sneakers outside of the gym.

Pleated trousers.

Don't get the hate for:

- capsleeves. I have toned arms and they look awesome on me.

- high-waisted jeans. I love them with longer tops because most jeans these days are cut so low, it's difficult to avoid the look of an extra skin fold between the waistband and the top.  See below re: crop tops, very few people are THAT firm.  High-waisted jeans solve the problem and give my tops a smooth line.

- turtlenecks. It wouldn't be an enduring style solution if it didn't look good on most people.

- capris. With the right length (past the thickest part of the calf) it looks great.

- kittenheels.  They aren't very practical, but if you don't have very thick calves, you can wear them. [/quote]

Pardon my ignorance, I don't get to ride Metro that often. White stockings/sneakers were 'the look' in the 90s, and I can't believe someone's still sporting it.[/quote]
