Nope.  Can't stand that schmoopy sentimentality.  It's so fake and surface.  Give me REM, Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, Jeff Buckley, Feist, etc etc etc any day.  I challenge you to listen to their music and read their lyrics and tell me that doesn't move you at a deeper level than dreck like John Mayer.  If not, well, I can't help you.[/quote]

I listen to all these artists and their music moves me just about the same as John Mayer. If he wasn't dumping women left and right, many of you would think his music his great. But you are biased now because he's a cad[/quote]
