Nope.  Can't stand that schmoopy sentimentality.  It's so fake and surface.  Give me REM, Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, Jeff Buckley, Feist, etc etc etc any day.  I challenge you to listen to their music and read their lyrics and tell me that doesn't move you at a deeper level than dreck like John Mayer.  If not, well, I can't help you.[/quote]

I'm perfectly willing to admit that Bon Iver is not for everyone.  I saw them on Austin City Limits and they were amazing, though.  As a dork former English major, I have a lot of interest in the lyrics.  [/quote]
