I'm just sad because I really like this other woman and I wish I could still enjoy being with her and our kids.  I do appreciate the suggestion that this phase might pass, at least to an extent, so I will try to keep seeing her in more "neutral" locations and maybe in time it will get better.

My only question is, for those of you who said this friendship can't be saved, what exactly should I tell my friend if she asks me point blank what's going on?  [/quote]
