I can't say that it's because DD didn't have the stats or a competitive app given that she got into 4 ivies (3 of which are ivy pluses), Berkeley and Duke. Ironically (or maybe not so ironically), she didn't get into the legacy institution (was deferred, waitlisted and then eventually rejected).[/quote]
