Both TJ and Swanson need a lot of money. Those schools should not be shortchanged in terms of quality. APS set a respectably high bar for school reconstructions back in the early 00s. There is a cost savings over the long term when renovations or reconstructions are not compromised in terms of quality. I do believe APS ed specifications call for windows for every classroom for example. TJ would need substantial work to meet that standard. [/quote]
