If you're living in Upper Caucasia it's because you've chosen to live in the bubble part of DC that's always been separate and you're not truly vested in the city. We're EOTP, have been here plenty long, have three generations currently living here, have kids in the public schools (no, not "JKLM" or whatever silly elitist acronym you use) and some of us actually work for/in the city.
