I just graduated from Princeton (Great Class of 2026!). The best 4 years of my life. I studied ORFE. Made friends for life. This school was incredible and I can't rave about it enough. Couldn't stop crying all last week.
How did you feel the work/life balance was at Princeton? I have a Junior, also interested in studying physics, who has the stats to be considered at Princeton, plus decent legacy status, but decided not to apply there this fall because they are worried it is too much of a grind culture for STEM majors and there wouldn’t be enough time to get involved with other things. I would love to hear your input and also want to know what ORFE stands for :).
My kid graduated in 2024 either your kid is ready for college or they are not the whole grind crap is absurd Mine was President of clubs and held a part time job junior and senior year. They loved it . STEM major made lifelong friendships and was happy .
