When me and my family visit the beach, we always leave our towels, blankets and coolers in a certain spot so after we are done in the water we can all dry off and sunbathe. Everyone reserves space for later , it is life.
That's wrong according to posters. You should take those things into the water. When you are done swimming, then you find a spot.
I am assuming you are being sarcastic here. People are always reserving spaces in public spaces, I live in a beach town and for next weekend (Memorial Day) my parents usually arrive at the beach/bay at like six in the morning to reserve a picnic table or barbecue pit even though we won’t even get around to eating until afternoon at the earliest. Why should this rule only apply at the beach? A laundromat is also a public place as are parks, libraries, restaurants and even public streets. Some of my neighbors get annoyed at people parking in front of their houses so they sometimes will place an orange cone by the curb so no one will park there!
