ED rounds don’t signal a lack of confidence. UChicago in 2016 had the same acceptance rate as Northwestern in 2026 with only EA and RD. I don’t mean to tear Northwestern down or anything, but it’s the truth. ED is a strategy, not a sign of “weakness.” But I figure you’re just mad because Emory has never cracked the top 10 or 20.[/quote]
It was actually my first time commenting on Chicago. If that’s makes me a troll so be it.
One ED round probably doesn’t signal lack of confidence, but three rounds certain do. And it’s manipulation for sure. Again, Chicago is for tier 4-5 students. Therefore, it’s not a top 20 school.[/quote]

And my kids are too good to be on top 10 school. They’re all in T5 and doing exceptionally well.
