How many slots do schools REALLY leave for IB students after, say, Aug 15? That’s a little over a week before school starts. I can’t imagine a ton of IB kids are really registering for the first time the day before school starts, or sheesh, just showing up on day 1?

I bet there’s a lot of movement that’s starts August 12 when teachers start returning and the school starts humming.

That being said, yes, I also assume there’s a lot of movement in the fall, but that’s because they have to call so many people to fill one seat after school starts, not because there’s actually a ton of movement.

It depends on their historical experience. DCPS enrollment team does modeling for every school and they are one of the parts of downtown that is pretty good at their job.[/quote]
