53 and agree with all of this.  I have an older brother in his sixties that uses weed all the time to medicate his depression or whatever — I don’t think it’s great although it’s probably better than his just drinking himself into cirrhosis.  If you have a mental health problem and have determined that this is the least bad option to treat your condition, that’s fine.  But let’s not normalize this as something that’s just generally okay to do.  FWIW, I also think that people who drink a bottle of wine a day are not any better.  [/quote]
