That's why I was surprised by the acceptance (EA) to UVA and the waitlist (RD) to WF.[/quote] This isn’t actually surprising. Wake’s RD admission rate is around or just under 10 percent. Your kid would have been accepted ED1 had they applied.[/quote] Looks like UVA's in-state acceptance rate is about 23%. Although I assume the rate varies based on when you apply and under what terms.
