It is imperative that boards have a system in place to check in with faculty on an annual basis. Switch out Lowell for a handful of other DMV schools and the same issues exist: institutions being held together by their incredibly talented and overworked faculty while mediocre leadership circles the drain until someone breaks. It’s happening every day and parents are funding it.[/quote]
