Some new houses in McLean have unique designs. I am not sure how people think about their styles. This one has a more Japanese-inspired feel, especially with the landscaped courtyard. Although it's a big house, it still feels warm and inviting.

At least they’re not black and white McFarmhouses. But still not my cup of tea. I wish there were more new builds in McLean that had more traditional architecture in the style of Old Town or Spring Valley. Not saying they all have to be traditional, but every new build is some hyper modern flat roofed house or a black and white McMansion. So yawn—would it kill the builders to at least add in some variety?[/quote]
