No one eats almonds by the cup full, multiple times per day. One 8oz cup of milk contains 300 mg of calcium. To get 300 mg of calcium in almonds you’d have to eat a cup full as well. Who would eat an entire cup of almonds? Let alone 3 cups of almonds per day- that would be 1500 calories in almonds alone. Please name another food that has more than 300 mg of calcium per serving that someone would want to consume multiple times per day. Adults need 1000 mg of calcium per day, teens even more. Good luck getting that from plants. [/quote]
