$96k is a lot to spend on any college, most of which also have impacted programs. Pomona offers 48 different majors; cognitive science is just one of them. In other words, this is a both a very minor problem at Pomona and a common problem among all colleges. Yet you've written this post (and many others like it) for the purpose of showing that Pomona is especially flawed. It's rhetorical nonsense, and you know it.

I don't know what your hang up is about Pomona, but it's seriously weird. Like, WTF-this-lady-genuinely-needs-therapy weird.
