I’ve given fake common names (Lucy, Abby, Anna, Maddie) and noticed how much better I get treated compared to when I use my real name. (I think it’s because my real name makes people think I’m a foreigner.) I’ve vowed to give my own kids simple names. I’m not sure I’d want to have a more common name that wasn’t easily spellable either.[/quote]
