Mandatory WFH in a storm is a lawsuit waiting to happen. My stupid company in Hurricanne Sandy closed our office building with full electric back up and I ended up being home and all three cars distroyed and 15 feet of water in my house, another guy got hurt severly in Far Rockaway.

It runs out our DR/BCP plan did not consider home location in his plan. So many people lived in more dangerous locations than work his decision to close office put a lot of us directly in harms way. One guy sued us.

My current home surrounded by trees.  My office in a blacktop parking lot. I am safer at work today.  [/quote]
