Sorry to burst your bubble. The number of applications is not a zero-sum game. Each kid sending in an average of 12 apps last year and 13 apps this year will inflate the number of applications to most schools. Nothing to do with someone's gain is someone else's loss. Hope your Emory kid isn't as naïve as you are.[/quote]
