Hi OP-- we did a similar trip last year.  If you are okay leaving DC early, you can catch the first tour of Dickinson in the morning, and then get over to Lancaster in time to see Franklin & Marshall in the afternoon. We drove to the Philly suburbs and stayed overnight for two nights. The next day, we did Swarthmore in the morning, and Haverford in the afternoon-- but you could easily do Villanova and Haverford instead. Then the next day we got up early and drove to Lafayette for a morning tour and did Lehigh in the afternoon. (Note: We thought about overnighting near Lafayette, but decided to just do two nights in the same hotel in Philly to avoid moving around so much.) I definitely agree with everyone above who says don't do more than two colleges in a day. [/quote]
