The Dem agenda is pro-democracy.  Pro-civil rights and due process.  Pro clean water and air.  Support for research to improve people's health and lives.  Pro-opportunity for Americans.

Perhaps if the Dem Party started caring more about what the American people want as opposed to what their wealthy mega-donors want, they would become a viable party again that would never, ever lose to an opponent as weak and flawed as Trump.

I don't disagree with you that both parties are dysfunctional, fail to serve the American people, and are beholden to wealthy donors, but one party remains relatively committed to democracy and the rule of law while the other has fully tossed aside those values. Dem voters were never the problem. We're talking about the corruption of our party leaders and politicians by the influence of money in politics. The American people can prioritize Democracy until the cows come home. What we regular citizens want is irrelevant as long our politicians are obligated to look out for mega-donor interests first and foremost.
