This is a lot to toss out without details even on an anonymous board. There was one thread months ago about one fight with MacArthur kids. Maybe on the bus or bus stop? But every school is going to have its issues. If there’s actually a “surge in violence” then please share so parents can ask targeted and accurate questions. Otherwise it’s hard to believe. [/quote]

I’m another DESA parent and besides the beef with MacArthur before winter break, I haven’t heard about anything since. The thing with MacArthur involved specific kids from a specific department. This pp makes it sounds like the entire school is wilding, which is completely inaccurate and a huge exaggeration.[/quote]

There was a fight with Hardy (MIDDLE SCHOOL!) this week. DESA kids had weapons. There will be a police presence next week. The DESA kids are out of control. Not all of them, obviously, but a significant group. [/quote]
