And if we did, the money would extend outside of our nuclear family to fund the education of our extended family and friends. I will pay for what I consider basics and some more for my children (college, wedding, car, help with some downpayment for house) and my grandkids (childcare and some family vacations with us). I don't intend for giving money for private schools and expensive colleges for my grandkids. Absolutely not for anything that my own kids could have saved for. Would I pay for some amazing opportunity in EC if my grandkids had immense talent for it? Yes. [/quote]
