In LA, 15 miles can take 2 hours![/quote] USC is a straight shot off the 10 from the beach - can take 30-35 minutes. If it’s really bad commuter traffic it can take a hour. But 30 minutes is a reasonable estimate. There is also an Expo Park metro stop and you can get to Santa Monica that way. Like the other PP said, Claremont Colleges are inland and quite far from the coast. [/quote]
