[/quote] This goes back to the erg metric used for elite programs. If you're not close to national team mark, you can forget about the elite schools. But between the elite schools and the schools that have rowing programs, there is a lot there where you don't necessarily have to worry about being a recruited athlete to secure a spot at that school. Most likely, if you have decent grades, you'll get in regardless of whether you're a rower or not. [/quote]
