PAF is easy to practice at home. It measures fluency so spend one minute each night on it.
Thanks! We have been practicing, and he’s gotten better at home. I just downloaded all the dibels progress/end of year sheets and consonant blends seemed to trip him up. Plus he found the whole using a timer thing annoying, so maybe just more familiarity with the test will help his scores. After two weeks of home practice, he’s in the yellow for PSF and green elsewhere. Still, I think he needs help with reading in general. I think he’s too young to say if he has dyslexia, but reading is an area he needs more support in and if he does have dyslexia I’d like to help him sooner. We would ideally find someone to tutor him starting in the spring and through the summer. I’d love to find someone with OG training and googling seems to pull up some suspect options.
