Yes, we need to not only name and prosecute, and yes: investigate every high level member of every administration to understand how something this monstrous could happen and ensure that it never, ever happens again. That is a structural response.

But OP’s question is about something different than structure. It is about individual, interior experiences and choices. It is not only a valid question, but an essential one: who sells their soul completely? Why?

I know you're not stupid enough to have missed that most of these documents are redacted, the released documents are only a fraction of what exists, the federal government readily admits that a tremendous amount of evidence was destroyed, and there's a lot of evidence that is not documentary that has not been released.

This has gone on for thousands of years and as much as we want to convince ourselves that along the way there has been some sort  of moral evolution, there hasn't been. 100% You are completely correct that this is just ONE such circle. For instance, the practices and corruption of the Gulf elites and the Western politicians and business professionals they partner with are at least as bad as those of the Israel lobby that Epstein represents. Corruption on countless levels, along with the commodification of human life that leads people to consider trafficking children as the next frontier of their personal enjoyment, is embedded in the system. There is a conversation about what has become normal and even necessary to rise that we need to have here that people are desperate not to have.[/quote]
